Apollo Blinds - Sydney

Would not recommend choosing Apollo Blinds for battery operated blinds. We installed them in a guest room hence were only used maybe 6 times a year over a few years and the motor has already died . Out of warranty , refuse to pay for a new motor given this poor performance so had to revert to manual cord system. Very disappointing .

Hit and miss. Quality is variable. I am no longer able to continue to recommend Apollo to my friends and family. We are still missing 3 parts that were not installed (cleats for two windows, side casing for top of blind). And management has not responded with a time to attend to finish the job, despite multiple emails following up. 1. The cleats for winding the access cord for two of the blinds were not installed. As a result there is nowhere to put the long cord leaving it a hazard for my two year-old, and the other cord is laying across the kitchen bench so may get dirty. 2. For the kitchen blind, there is no finishing on the end of the housing for the blind. As a result you can see the blind mechanism and it looks unfinished. I expect dust will get in there. I still have the issue with one of the curtains I purchased previously. For each of the curtains installed, the cap came off the run. One was replaced by the Appollo technician under warranty but I was told the other would need me to pay almost $200 for the technician visit, which is an excessive cost for a simple tiny part that has come off because it was not secured properly by the technician. The curtain is only opened on the rare occasion so it should not have come down. When I requested a cap from Apollo technician to fix it myself - they claimed to not have one.

So far the process has been seamless. Quick response and efficient communication. Great lead time. Blinds installed - very happy with the final product. Installed impeccably and provided some very helpful product care advice. Still awaiting our shutters to be installed (longer lead time) but so far we have been very happy with the service and product!

I’ve just recently had some electrical blinds installed. The service from Apollo was fantastic. The Sales Rep - Dino Loisos was really helpful with quickly getting the upfront quote, measurement and helping recommend an electrician to install all the wiring. Was also really quick to return phone calls and emails with any questions I had throughout the process process. The installer - Elia did a really great job. It wasn’t an easy install, being 6 metres above stairs, but he took it in his stride and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Thanks to them both for making the whole project seem-less!

Very professional and easy to deal with - from Dino's onsite measurements and recommendations to John's delivery and installation. Unbeatable price, too! We LOVE the new blinds in our kitchen area!
