Dr. Robbins has really helped me figure out what I can do to better my mental health and he has truly listened to me even with my issues. He has been companionate and understanding and always answers my emails very quickly. I highly recommend this practice and have been his patient for less than a year but my overall quality of life has improved.
As yet, I have not even had my first appointment with Blue Umbrella. (It is scheduled for this afternoon) I specifically felt the need to write a short stellar review for the care I have ALREADY received. Both Alexandra (Alex) and Ashley have been absolutely fabulous. The combination of their attitude, demeanor, knowledge and perseverance are magnificent traits which Ihave never experienced before even from my long - term physician's teams! They have both made me feel extremely confident and calm knowing how on top of everything they are. It is incredibly refreshing to experience this level of geniune care. Especially, prior to officially being a patient of the practice! Thanks again so much, Alex and Ashley. Bravo! Looking forward to finally meeting you later. KB
I had the privilege of rotating with Dr. Robbins as a medical student and cannot say enough good things about this practice. The office runs so smoothly and everyone is genuinely happy to be there, but most importantly the doctor, NPs and therapists TRULY care about their patients. I learned so much while I was there, and having seen just a little of what goes on behind the scenes, would highly recommend Blue Umbrella to anyone I know looking for mental health services.
I found Blue Umbrella to be a very professional and well run practice. In particular, Ashley J was a pleasure to work with. She was kind, patient, listened, and did her best to return calls or texts in a timely fashion. I appreciated her warmth and her desire to help. It is very rare to find people who take the time to treat their patients as individuals with their own story and their own unique needs and Ashley did just that.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Robbins. From our very first appointment, I could tell he had taken the time to understand my case before recommending anything—which honestly was such a relief. I’ve been on and off medications for years due to endometriosis and untreated mental health issues, and most psychiatrists in my experience have been quick to write a prescription and move on. Dr. Robbins did the opposite. He carefully walked me through my diagnosis, explaining which parts made sense and which ones might need to be reconsidered. He helped me go from taking over six medications down to just two—and for the first time, I actually understood what I was taking and why. That made all the difference. Another thing I really appreciate is how closely he works with my therapist. It feels like there’s a real team supporting me now, and I’m finally seeing real, lasting progress. For the first time in a long time, I felt heard, seen, and understood—and the results of that care speak for themselves. Dr. Robbins worked with me patiently until I was in a much more stable place, and you can truly tell that he cares about his patients beyond just medication. He listens, he explains, and he treats you like a whole person—not just a list of symptoms. I’m genuinely grateful I found him. If you’re feeling stuck and don’t know where to turn next, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Robbins at Blue Umbrella Psychiatry. It made all the difference for me.
About Us
TMS, or transcranial magnetic stimulation, is an FDA-approved treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the root cause of depression in the brain. It's safe, highly-effective, and covered by insurance. Depression is caused by a lack of sufficient activity in the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, essentially the front left part of your brain. When this area is working properly, the entire brain lights up, creating an improved mood, working memory, and selective attention. We promise to go beyond a diagnosis and work with you, providing you: - Individual and supportive care you need and deserve - Innovative services, based entirely on your needs - Coordinated, evidence-based programs
