I met with Caleaya regarding renting out my property. After she viewed the home, she sent me the intake form, I completed it, and we went through everything together. I specifically asked to review the leasing agreement she provides to tenants. She told me I could look it over, request changes, and she would adjust it. She also mentioned that the version she sent me would not include CrossView Property Management’s name when it is given to the tenant. She also told me that the rental price I came up with was a little high, so they came up with a lower price that I did not agree with at first. Later, because the market is bad, I decided I could come down and go with her pricing. When I called her to let her know, she texted that she was on another call and would call me back. While waiting for her call, I went over the leasing agreement she sent me, made the changes I wanted, and emailed it back to her. She did not call me back. She did not text me back. For the entire day there was no response. When I finally called her again, she only replied by text saying she was “deciding” if she could make changes because it was the lease they advertise on their website. This completely contradicted what she told me earlier. At that point it also felt like once I left town she assumed she could ignore what we discussed and move forward however she wanted. Thankfully, I had not signed anything yet, so I chose not to continue with her. Long story short: I caught her in a lie early on, she was not reliable, and her communication was poor.
