A key factor is Lorre, who has been with the agency for an amazing 47 years! She has been a huge help to me as I assumed responsibility for my aging parents' affairs, proactively alerting me to things I needed to address and offering suggestions of how best to ensure that they were well protected. I have also been pleased with State Farm's pricing. I recently shopped the policy on my parents' vacation home as a due diligence effort, and the "more local" agency was 44% higher even with a higher deductible.
